Terms of service

Last updated September 3, 2026

These are the terms for using Quilt, a family calendar for co-parents and families. Using Quilt means you agree to them.

What Quilt is, and isn't

Quilt is a scheduling and record-keeping tool. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for your custody order or agreement. If anything in Quilt disagrees with your order, the order governs. Check the schedule against your own documents before relying on it.

Your account

You must be an adult to create a family. Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you. Tell us right away if you think your account has been used without permission.

The shared record

Messages, proposals, and accepted changes in a co-parenting family are a shared record between the parents. They are timestamped by our servers, cannot be edited or deleted, and remain visible to the other parent. Don't post anything you wouldn't want read back later.

Acceptable use

Use Quilt only for your own family's scheduling. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, don't try to access another family's data, and don't use Quilt to harass anyone.

Subscriptions

Some features require a paid plan. One parent pays; the whole family is covered. If a subscription lapses, the family keeps its data and read-only access to paid features. Refunds follow the policies of the store you purchased through.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Quilt running and accurate, but we provide it as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for missed exchanges, scheduling errors, or losses that come from using or being unable to use Quilt.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you inside the app.
