How many overnights is every other weekend?
Three nights every two weeks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), which is about 21% of overnights. Adding a weekly dinner does not change the overnight count; adding a midweek overnight moves it to about 29%.
Does the weekend end Sunday night or Monday morning?
Either. Monday morning means school drop-off does the hand-off, which many families prefer. This page shows the Friday-to-Monday version.
Can the weekday parent still see the schedule change on a holiday?
Yes. Holiday rules and school breaks override the regular pattern, and the calendar shows the result for both parents and the kids.
